My favorite interior designer, Erika Powell of Urban Grace Interiors, designed the home so I knew this was something I didn't want to miss.
This Five Things Friday post is a list of my top 5 favorite rooms/spaces in the home.
{Sorry for the poor picture quality...I was snapping pictures like a mad woman, only to realize at the end of the tour that my camera had been on the wrong setting the whole time. Ha!}
1. My favorite room was the girls bunk room. Chris and I both loved it so much that we decided to use it as inspiration for our girls room {they will share a room downstairs in the not so distant future}when Maggie moves out of the nursery.
The picture below is the designer standing in the girls bunk room on opening night.

And, these are my bad photos. It was much better in person.
Totally in love with the paint color {Hedgerow Mist 22-21 by Pratt & Lambert}, the scalloped matelasse and, well, all of the bedding really.
And then there is the super cute wallpaper. {Star burst with gold dots. Love.}
2. The gameroom. Love it, love it, love it!
Love the wall planking. Love the prints. Love the sofas {Lee Industries}. Love the baskets with the throw blankets in them. {That green one is a well placed splash of color...and just happens to be my favorite color.}
A very comfy-cozy game room.
The only change I would make would be to bring in an actual coffee table vs. an ottoman in order to make for easier game playing in the seating area. This girl loves to play games!
And I am totally in love with this ping pong table {The net was even tied to a tiny brass pole. Love details!}. And the paddles hanging on the wall. Adorable!
Oh, and don't miss those floors! After instillation they were white washed and scrubbed with a wire brush. A very beachy look.
3. The theater and wet bar. Wow.
A fun place to read. Or take a nap!
The wet bar was fully stocked.
Including my movie watching beverage of choice. Who doesn't love glass-bottle Cokes?
This is the actual theater. It's bigger than it looks.
And I totally love the idea of watching a movie on my very own chase. With my very own blanket and beverage table.
Although I wouldn't mind two baby girls snuggled up on there with me. With personal bowls of popcorn, of course. :)
Speaking of popcorn, there were even snacks on hand.
I spy Cracker Jacks, Junior Mints and Peanut M&M's. It's like they knew I was coming. Ha!
4. Bedroom #3. Again, I loved everything about this room. {Keep in mind, this is not the master bedroom. And it is still awesome right down to the tiniest detail.}
The slip-covered headboard...
The brass lamps...
And again with the scalloped bed linens...
I even loved the rooms location. It is across the hall from a door that leads to another of my favorite spots in the house...
5. The outdoor space...the pool, outdoor living, outdoor kitchen, loggia, and courtyard. I could spend a lot of time out here.
I really appreciate the attention that Urban Grace Interiors gives to tiny details and finishes. The little things really make all the difference in good design.
If you're vacationing out that way and you'd like to see the 2012 Ultimate Beach House in Rosemary Beach, it is open now through Oct. 7.

Love, love, love the girls room!
Hey girl! Love the post. Erika is awesome! I believe those little white things in the framed series are intaglio seals. I was thinking about doing some in new baby's nursery! Hopefully we will see you all at church this Sunday:)

Ashley, thanks for solving my mystery! I've loved them for years...but it's hard to shop for something if you don't know what it is or what it's called. Ha! They would look great in the nursery! Hope to see you at church on Sunday!
Yes, they are Intaglios

Love that look and I absolutely love Erika Powell's work! I keep telling Matt he needs to surprise me with a house redesign by her!
Your camera definitely did the house justice despite being on the wrong setting! I am totally inspired by seeing your pictures, thanks for sharing!
