Five {New} Things Friday

1. Meet my new friend Whitney. She is an exchange student from London that has been staying in our home for the last couple of days during her short visit to Memphis to job shadow. She is a doll and has the best accent in the world! And my girls love her. AC will be very sad to have to say good-bye tonight.

2. We are also saying good-bye to our friends, Matt and Lori Brown. If you're from Memphis you might know Lori from Action News 5. Lori's new gig is taking them to sunny Orlando where Lori will report the news in a much larger market. Way to go Lori! We will be sure to stop by and see y'all {and Mickey Mouse} sometime soon.

3. I have a new {and easy} recipe to share with you from Real Simple. I've been following their "Month of Easy Dinners" plan from the Oct, issue and so far all of the recipes are delicious! Just click on the link here to get the recipe for Tortellini with Butternut Squash, Mushrooms, and Fontina {I used Gruyere instead}. It's a yummy fall dish everyone in the family will enjoy {AC was a fan}.

4. This is my newest painting. I love hydrangeas.

5. I've got some new stuff going out to Toad Hall soon to get ready for their upcoming Holiday Open House Nov 4-5...like this knuckle arm Windsor chair!
